"Santiago of Escuderia Boricua" (sdiglesias)

Today was the first event of the 2014 season for the Tennesse Valley Region SCCA Rallycross. It was a great event, the surface was dry and I was able to get a decent amount of grip on the prius tires.
The most competitive classes were Stock RWD and Modified RWD. I took stock with my FR-S, beating an older 325 and an MR2. The MR class was only separated by a few seconds by the end of the day. The fastest driver in that class was a 15 year old kid with a learner's permit and a Miata.
FTD was a Stock AWD Impreza driven by the guy who won SA last year at the nationals in an Evo.
Here are a bunch of GoPro recordings, hope everyone likes them. I tried out a few different GoPro mounting positions.

Thanks! The handling is really good, even with the factory tires. I would love to do this with the Nameless Performance rally toyobaru.

Ah, gt86/frs continuing the ae86 heritage. Toyota ae86's were once great rally cars as well before the AWD takeover. I hope that Toyota makes a gt86 rally car for WRC soon. :)
